Step into the world of musicals where everything is bigger—bigger voices, bigger moves, bigger stories. In this high-energy class, you’ll work on solos, duets and group songs from hit Broadway shows, sharpen your acting, even throw some movement in there for good measure, and learn how to tell a story through music. Perfect for theatre lovers of all experience levels, this class builds confidence, stage presence, and an understanding of the emotional depth that can be explored when you add music and movement to your repertoire. We will work on individual, and group pieces of different sizes and will culminate in a showcase allowing you to share all that you create along the course of the winter.

Meisner Based Scene Study

with Jenna Ciralli | Mondays | 6-8 PM
Live From The Divide

1/12 - 3/2

$300 | Ages 16+ or by special permission

Really talk, really listen. The Meisner Technique aims to break down social conditioning in order to unearth our truest impulses and most authentic self. Working off a scene partner with a basic repetition exercise, the actor will learn to take the attention off themselves and onto their partner’s truthful behavior. This “living truthfully” is an excellent foundation to bring genuine behavior and naturalism into your acting. Students will apply the technique to two scenes over an 8-week course. The last scene will be presented to colleagues, friends and family in a Showcase.
